Our History and Purpose
Once a farmland under threat of being converted into more agricultural land and coffee plantations, Finca Solantis now stands as a sanctuary dedicated to preservation and renewal. We are proud to be one of the few farms protecting the last remaining primary forest not under official protection, safeguarding natural springs, rivers, and a rich biodiversity reservoir.

Our Location
Finca Solantis is located in the small coffee village of Santa Maria de Dota only 1hr 30 south of San Jose surrounded by imposing mountains and lush green views.
Known worldwide for high-quality coffee, beautiful hiking experiences and indigenous culture, Santa Maria is a magical village where you may feel as if time stopped running. One of the community's biggest claims to fame is the shade-grown Tarrazu coffee that thrives in the region’s rich volcanic soil.
